Mycarnium
A race of sentient giant mycelia (mushrooms/fungus). While they are typically feared and avoided in some civilized systems, they are very wise, having inherited some inherent knowledge from ancestors. Unsurprisingly, they are very talented in the Natural arts. They also are able to absorb Magical energy from individuals or objects through their spores, which are also one of their built in weapons. While most hail from Calichasan, some offspring have been raised in other systems.

Cultural Information
Mycarnium are formed by a combination of the genetic information of four sources creating a spore, cultivated to receive sentient life through intense conditions. Based on the information responsible and the passed traits, the environment in which they grow, their own traits may or may not strongly reflect the contributors to their genetics. While the concept of male and female is somewhat tied to other species' biological tendencies and nature, Mycarnium are singular and infinite in nature. Their bonds for relations are more tied to their natural home of origin, and their colony of belonging. These colonies to participants tend to bestow titles embedded into their genetics through sharing of spores for other's identification.
